Acer equips Predator Triton 500 gaming laptop with 300Hz screen
Acer has released a new version of its Predator Triton 500 gaming laptop. The manufacturer equips the model with a 15.6″ panel with a refresh rate of 300Hz. Acer also comes with a Predator Triton 300 variant with GTX 1650 video card.
The new Predator Triton 500 is a refresh of the model that came out earlier this year. Acer says the updated version may come with a 300Hz panel, but the manufacturer doesn’t provide details about panel type or resolution. In any case, it is probably a panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The new Predator Triton 500 will be released in November for prices starting at 2,699 euros.
Acers Predator Triton 500 is a relatively thin and light gaming laptop. The weight is 2.1kg and the thickness is 17.9mm. The housing is made of metal and the hardware consists of RTX Max-Q graphics cards combined with Intel Core H processors of the ninth generation.
At IFA, Acer is also announcing a new Predator Triton 300 gaming laptop. That is also a 15.6 “model, but this cheaper version is slightly heavier at 2.3 kg. Acer puts a GTX 1650 video card in the Triton 300, a maximum of a Core i7 hexacore and 16 GB DDR4. The IPS screen has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 3ms.The Triton 300 will be released in October for prices from 1299 euros.
Acer also comes with ConceptD Pro laptops. These are variants of the previously announced ConceptD laptops, but with a Quadro RTX GPU instead of a GeForce RTX variant. There will be a ConceptD 9 Pro, 7 Pro, 5 Pro and 3 Pro. The ConceptD laptops are related to the Predator Triton models for gamers. The new ConceptD 3 model is comparable to the new Triton 300. The adjustable Concept D 9 Pro has a starting price of 5499 euros; the three Pro models below it start at 2599, 2499 and 1499 euros. The laptops will be on sale from November.
